Photography, for most enthusiasts and professionals, began as a hobby. For the old guys like me, we started this hobby with some version of the Brownie camera. Mine was a Brownie 127, of bakelite construction, a fixed shutter speed of 1/50 sec, and a meniscus lens with an F/14 aperture.
